Find out why this neighbourhood is one of Hamilton's top markets

Very impressed by the team's efficiency

Patrick & Helen H Local Homeowner

Thank you for your excellent management of the sale of our previous house in Hamilton and the subsequent purchase of a condominium. We have been very impressed by the efficiency of your team in navigating these contracts. Your efficiency in rapidly answering our many questions has been faultless and your advice & expertise throughout has been excellent. We have worked with many realtors in the past few years & have never before seen the professionalism shown by your team. We have not had to worry about the dozens of issues that inevitably arise during Real Estate transactions. You have all been exemplary. Thank you very much.

Hamilton has some really amazing neighbourhoods, and each has its own unique character and its own unique market potential.

The Delta and Crown Point neighbourhood has been and still is one of the most sought after neighbourhoods in Hamilton for the past few years (in fact, not long ago Macleans ranked Crown Point East and Crown Point West as the top two neighbourhoods in Hamilton in terms of real estate market).

It also happens to be one of the best places in the region to live. I am biased as I live here myself with my wife and 2 young boys.

Here are some highlights of a few things I love about this neighbourhood:

Shopping in the Crown Point Neighbourhood

Delta and Crown Point features the awesome and lively Ottawa Street Shopping District.

Ottawa Street runs north/south through the area and it is quickly becoming the go-to place for small businesses to set up shop.

You’ll find great coffee shops, antique stores, and restaurants along the strip. It is also a textile mecca for all of you crafty types out there!

Love to support (and eat!) local produce? Saturdays feature the Ottawa Street Farmers Market from 7am–3pm year round!

What about if you need to hit up some box stores? At the northern end of the street is the newly renovated Centre Mall, so groceries, LCBO, banks, and anything else you need is close enough to walk.

Hamilton’s Gage Park

Gage Park is perhaps the most impressive feature of this neighbourhood, and it’s also one of Hamilton’s most iconic public spaces.

Love to be part of major public gatherings? The park is home to many exciting, delicious, and beautiful festivals throughout the year such as RibFest, Festival of Friends, the Spring bulb show and Fall mums show, and more.

There is something for everyone at Gage Park.

  • Picnic on the grass? It features large open green spaces, mature trees, and a rose garden.
  • Want to get out of the rain? See the tropical greenhouse that has just undergone a massive expansion.
  • Looking for a great place to take photos? The Gage memorial fountain runs all Summer long.
  • Live performances? The park features the George R. Robinson Bandshell, and events happen throughout the warmer seasons.
  • Love biking or running? Check out the BMX track and walking/running paths
  • Looking for something your children will love? Gage has two playgrounds and a splash pad, and the larger playground has recently been completely renovated.

A growing neighbourhood means a major market opportunity

You can definitely live a pedestrian-friendly, urban lifestyle in the Delta/Crown Point neighbourhood, but there is another angle to consider: opportunity.

Even though house prices have been rising by leaps and bounds in the last few years—

(seriously, see what 2018's top 3 neighbourhoods were and you will have some idea of what 2019 will look like)

—this neighbourhood remains seriously affordable for many young families who are moving to the area due to the affordability, amenities, easy access to transit, mature trees, and charming homes.

While the market has been picking up, it’s not too late, and Delta and Crown Point can very easily be the opportunity where you finally get into the market for yourself.

There have been so many amazing restaurants and cafés opening up in the area precisely because everybody is noticing the way this neighbourhood is trending: upwards.

This upward trend makes for a very strong investment opportunity

Whether you’re, just starting out, or looking for somewhere to settle down, imagine the confidence and relief you will feel when you take your next step in a neighbourhood that’s only going up in value from every angle.

Come look around

Convinced Delta and Crown Point is worth an afternoon visit?

I can’t say enough about this area, and its growing popularity is only going to increase in the next ten years.
